Zelt Raises $3.5 Million in Seed Funding
Zelt is an integrated people operations platform for modern people teams.
London-based HR tech startup Zelt has secured an impressive $3.5 million in seed funding to fuel its innovative platform. Founded in 2021 by Christopher Priebe, a former investor at Global Founders Capital, Zelt addresses the need for streamlining HR, IT, and financial processes under one unified solution. The company primarily targets small businesses and has already onboarded clients like Robin and Mumsnet.
Zelt's platform is tailored to meet the demands of the modern "head of people" role, a position increasingly prevalent in venture-backed startups. By automating and simplifying various aspects of the employee lifecycle, the startup aims to reduce administrative burden and minimize errors. The recent funding round, co-led by Episode 1 Ventures and Village Global, along with notable participation from angels and VC scout funds, will enable Zelt to expand its team by hiring up to 20 professionals in the near future. The company intends to enhance its sales and marketing efforts, fortifying its position in the market and propelling its go-to-market strategies to meet the evolving challenges faced by HR teams in an increasingly globalized startup landscape
