Mosie Baby Secures $1M in Funding to Support Retail Expansion
Mosie Baby provides home fertility, with the first patented syringe designed for at-home insemination!
Austin-based startup Mosie Baby, a pioneer in at-home fertility solutions, has just announced the launch of an enhanced Mosie Baby At-Home Insemination Kit, alongside the successful closing of an oversubscribed $1 million bridge funding round. Founded in 2015 by Maureen Brown and Marc Brown, Mosie Baby was born out of their personal struggles with conception and a deep desire to address the challenges couples and individuals face when seeking affordable and comfortable fertility solutions. Their patented Mosie Syringe, purpose-built for at-home intravaginal insemination (IVI), boasts an innovative slit opening and barrel-free design, maximizing release while minimizing waste.
The newly launched kit includes two Mosie Syringes and two proprietary collection cups specifically designed for semen collection and transfer. With strong backing from top-tier investors such as Magic Fund, Everywhere Ventures, and female-led angel investing networks like The Council and 37 Angels, Mosie Baby is now poised for significant expansion. The capital infusion will primarily support retail partnerships, including a forthcoming rollout in CVS stores and other major retailers later this year. Additionally, Mosie Baby is actively pursuing collaborations in the healthcare and employer benefit sectors, beginning with Optum. Priced at $129 and eligible for FSA/HSA coverage, the Mosie Baby kit offers a far more affordable alternative to clinical fertility treatments, democratizing access to family-building for over 100,000 families to date.
