HIVED’s Murvah Iqbal Named to The Sunday Times’ 30 Under 30 Young Power List
HIVED is a UK-based parcel delivery company operating a fully electric fleet, offering timely delivery services with a focus on sustainability and customer satisfaction.
Sustainability. Scale. A startup that actually delivers—literally. The Sunday Times has unveiled its 2025 Young Power List, featuring 30 of the UK’s most inspiring under-30s shaping culture, business, and innovation. Among the honorees: Murvah Iqbal, co-founder of HIVED, the all-electric parcel delivery company reimagining last-mile logistics with climate impact in mind. “When you’re building a business in this century it has to be sustainable by default,” Iqbal told The Times.
Delivering Better, by Design
Since launching in 2021, HIVED has built a fleet of 250+ electric vehicles, delivered over five million parcels, and landed clients like Asos, Zara, and Nespresso. Backed by £30 million in funding, the company is now scaling beyond London, with Birmingham and Manchester next on the map.
For Iqbal, who started out delivering parcels by bike, it’s personal. Her entrepreneurial drive began with branding work for her uncle’s diner chain and playing football for Manchester City Women’s youth teams. But a formative trip to Silicon Valley sparked the belief that scale doesn’t require permission—just a vision and relentless follow-through.
“You just need a big vision, ambition, and to work hard.”
A Founder on a Mission
HIVED isn’t just a logistics company—it’s a climate-conscious alternative to delivery giants with rock-bottom satisfaction scores. In an industry ready for change, Iqbal is proving that great service and sustainability aren’t mutually exclusive.
“The payoff is when friends message you saying, ‘I just received a HIVED parcel and it was amazing.’”
Iqbal’s inclusion in The Sunday Times list reflects more than her business success—it recognizes her role in redefining how modern companies serve people and the planet alike.
Her advice to future founders? “Starting is the hardest part, so just start and start small. If you have an idea, test it on friends and family—then grow.”
See Who Else Made the List
The full Young Power List features rising stars across industries—from Jess Hunt, co-founder of Refy Beauty, to Cole Palmer, England’s standout footballer, and Kaleb Cooper, the breakout star of Clarkson’s Farm. It’s a snapshot of what’s next—and who’s building it.
