HIVED Rolls Out the UK’s First All-Electric Haulage Fleet
HIVED is a UK-based parcel delivery company operating a fully electric fleet, offering timely delivery services with a focus on sustainability and customer satisfaction.
HIVED, the UK’s first fully electric parcel delivery network, is taking a bold leap into heavy-duty logistics. The London-based startup, co-founded by Murvah Iqbal and Mathias Krieger, has announced the launch of its all-electric HGV fleet, bringing clean energy to long-distance haulage and trunking routes across the UK.
The new service deploys 44-ton electric trucks from Mercedes-Benz and Daimler Trucks, already running seven days a week from HIVED’s hubs in Greater London and the Midlands. These e-HGVs are designed to connect major cities and distribution centers, with staggered schedules to maximize network efficiency and flexibility.
“Every electric truck we put on the road is proof that a better way forward exists,” said Krieger. “Our investment in electric infrastructure isn’t just about growth—it’s about rewriting the rulebook for logistics and proving that the most sustainable option can also be the highest-quality solution on the market.”
Building the UK’s Largest e-HGV Network
HIVED has been steadily expanding its parcel delivery operations since its launch, and the addition of long-haul electric trucks marks its most ambitious step yet. Backed by strong manufacturer partnerships and a long-term vision, the company plans to grow its fleet significantly through 2026, with the aim of becoming the UK’s largest operator of electric HGVs.
For brands looking to decarbonize their supply chains, the appeal is immediate. Isabel Fuell, VP of operations strategy and expansion at HIVED, emphasized that this isn’t a distant promise but a live service already in motion.
“We’re not just announcing a future service; we’re already running electric trunking routes every day,” Fuell said. “With 44t e-HGVs operating from London and the Midlands, we’re open for business and ready to help brands make their supply chains more reliable, cleaner, and futureproof.”
By proving that electrification can work at scale for long-haul freight, HIVED is challenging an industry long dominated by diesel. For the logistics sector, it signals a future where sustainability and reliability aren’t at odds, they move forward together.
